Pathmajan Rasan, Founder
With over three decades of experience at the forefront of systematic investing, I have built a career around a deep belief in the power of research, technology, and independent thinking. My journey began at Salomon Brothers in the late 1980s, where I helped develop decision-support systems and later became an equity strategist and quantitative researcher—contributing to early developments in systematic investment approaches.
In 1999, I founded Midtown Investments to pursue a research-driven and technology-enabled approach to investment strategy. Since then, I have advised leading institutions such as Brevan Howard, Aberdeen Asset Management, and PGIM, and led the development of a proprietary analytical platform supporting systematic investment design.
My focus today is on delivering independent, non-discretionary investment advice and research, with an emphasis on robust, rules-based methodologies and tailored strategic solutions—supporting clients in shaping and implementing their investment approaches.
